A black flower (as horticulturally black as you can get), appears in early summer, from amongst tall and narrow grass-like leaves.
Grows easily in full sun or shade, but prefers rich moist soil. Tolerates wet feet.
Reaches a height of 90cm.
Easy to grow and very hardy.
