Ashton Glen Perennial Nursery
Ashton Glen Nursery is an Online Nursery at Clinton, located close to the Otago & Southland border. Specializing in hardy Cottage Garden Plants - alpines and perennials.
I have been arranging some mini bouquets of artificial (silk) flowers. It kind of goes against the grain a bit not using fresh flowers and foliage but I sort of fell into using silk flowers by accident. I was asked to do flowers for a function and silk was what was requested. I have come to love them. They take the same arranging but they are forgiving and tough. Best of all .... they last forever, don't need watering and so don't die! Perfect for as nice gift or cheering up any room of your home.
I have some unique one-off bouquets for sale at present. Once sold I will have to happily arrange some more! Each is different.

All plants are grown outdoors in Otago, in the southern belt of New Zealand. So they are inflicted with irregular weather, snow, severe frosts, far too many polar blasts and periods of hot dry weather. In other words - if they do not survive for me in my nursery then I am not interested in growing and fussing with them. If they are not attractive then they also end up in the compost bin too.
Should you have trouble finding anything specific you can either use the Search Engine on this site or contact me. I will be more than happy to help.
Shipping and processing charges are shown on the Shipping link to your left and under the Info tab. No plant orders are sent out of New Zealand because of international bio-security laws. Niwashi Garden Tools however can be exported.
Please note too that the nursery is not open to the public. Other life commitments (farm & family) mean that a "shop" arrangement is not possible as I am often somewhere else wearing one of my other hats. The nursery is a production nursery.
