Astilbe crispa

This Astilbe differs to the more common taller growing varieties in that it gives you glossy, dark green and almost crinkly leaves.  The leaves are tinged bronze when young.

Stems of narrow plumes of soft pink almost fluffy flowers appear in summer.

Prefers protection from the heat of the day and soil that does not dry out. 

Perfect for the front of the woodland garden or in a pot in a cool area.

This is a lovely plant to have in your garden.

Grows 15-20cm in height.  Very hardy and frost tolerant.
