Umbrella Plant or Indian Rhubarb
A herbaceous perennial to 1.5m in height. The leaves are glossy and rounded up to 45cm in width. The leaves turn red in autumn.
The pale pink flowers arise on tall stems in a cluster at the top of the stems before the leaves appear.
It does well in wet soil, part or full shade. Will grow in full sun provided the soil is kept moist.
Great for all types of garden - cottage to architectural landscaping.
Easy to grow. Pest and disease resistant. Requires little care. Hardy and frost tolerant.
