This is a differing form of the common Jacob's Ladder. He is rather splendid when in full form.
A mound of lush ferny foliage produces tall stems topped in spring with soft blue-purple flowers similar to a Phlox.
Grows 30-45cm. Very hardy.
Lovely as a cut flower.
