Black Mondo Grass can grow to about 25 cm in height and will gradually spread to around 60 cm. In mid-summer, loose spikes of small, bell-shaped flowers appear, which can be light pink or white, followed by small black berries.
Mondo grass thrives in partial to full shade but can tolerate full sun in cooler areas, provided it receives adequate water.
