Ashton Glen Cottage
Ashton Glen Cottage is a small
farmhouse on our sheep and grain farm at Clinton in South Otago's Clutha
District of New Zealand.
Perfectly suited for couples, families, small groups
holidaying together and trout
fishermen.
The cottage has 3
bedrooms, sleeps 5 (but more can be accommodated) and is fully self-contained and provides all that you require for a
comfortable stay. Includes all linen. Breakfast on request.
Clinton has a good range of meals available -
Pub with meals, Café &
Takeaway Shop and Grocery Store.
Situated on the outskirts of Clinton. 25 minutes south and north of
Balclutha & Gore respectively. Our area is well known for it's fishing
rivers, diverse scenery, lush farmland and friendly people.
Our cottage is a perfect base for those who love trout fishing. We are centrally located to many great fishing spots.
Within 10 - 40 minutes drive from here, there are six re-known fishing rivers – the Clutha, Mataura (the best brown trout fishing river of the world!), Waipahi, Pomahaka, Waiwera & the Catlins River.
Needless to say it is a great place from which to plan for yourself a few days of fishing.
It is also a nice relaxing spot for you and your family if you just want to get away from the ‘rat race’ for a few days, surrounded by farm life. The wonderful southern scenery can be enjoyed within short day trips of our cottage. We boast that we are central to everywhere.
The Clinton town-ship has all the required local services and amenities such as; a Fuel Station, Grocery Store, three Churches, Squash Courts, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool (unheated), an excellent Golf Course and of course great people!

and stay, and relax in the quiet of the country in our little cottage.
Tariffs:
Double $100 per night (off peak). $110 (1st Dec
- 1st March).
Single $85 per night.
Each extra adult $15 per night.
Each extra child $10 per night.
$650 per week for any number.
$700 (1st Dec - 1st March).
