A plant for dappled shade in woodland areas.
Hairy leaves bear from early spring onwards many flowered racemes, of lime green flowers that turn reddish with age.
On close examination, these reveal a delicacy and beauty of form unsuspected at first glance.
Grows to 30cm in height in rounded clumps.
Excellent groundcover and filler plant.
An unusual plant - it grows in the dry shade where little else can!!
